About Na Dúnaibh

Come and visit beautiful Downings, Co, Donegal on the Wild Atlantic Way this summer.

We have camp pitches, suitable for camper vans or touring caravans for rent, situated in the GAA grounds, with an ocean view, right next to Trá Beag and a 2 minute walk from the centre of Downings village.

All of our camp pitches are hard stands on level gravel, with electric hook up.

Sites and Rates

We will be welcoming guests again for summer 2024. The nightly rate is €35 and you can check availability by clicking here. Minimum stay over summer is for 3 days. We only take bookings via the website.

Local Activities

GAA

The camper van sites are situated in the grounds of CLG na nDúnaibh, so you’ll have every opportunity to take in a game of Gaelic football during your stay.

Horse Riding

Riding stables in Carrigart and Cranford are just a few kilometres away.

 

Golf

There are three world class golf courses just a stone’s throw away. The Old Tom Morris course at the Rosapenna Hotel, The Sandy Hills Links and the newly opened St. Patrick’s Links.

Food and drink

No matter how long you stay in Downings, you’ll never run out of great pubs, restaurants and cafes to visit.

Cycling

You can enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Wild Atlantic Way from your saddle!

Watersports

We’re right in the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way and there are all sorts of watersports available right on our doorstep. Kayaking, windsurfing, water skiing,surfing, sailing, jetskiing and  swimming to name a few.
